‘Emotional Marketing Value’ Headline Analyzer

A Free Tool To Check for a Title’s Emotional Value

This free tool analyzes titles for Emotional Marketing Value (EMV). It uses the three configuring categories: intellectual, empathetic, and spiritual.

One thing I noticed is that this tool, not being human, does not recognize some major spiritual terms. So use your own discretion, common sense, and don’t take it all completely serious, because we can think about what we want to represent with a title, but an automated tool can not.

It didn’t completely understand the intention of my current book’s title so as far as numbers go, it wasn’t at 100%. ‘The Last Wave’ title now has brand recognition so I dare not change it at this point. Plus, everything is wrapped around it, including this blog.

After obsessively spending some hours on this last night, I now have titles for my next two books, because one was at 100% and the other at 80%.

Have fun with this tool and don’t give up if at first you get 16% and 25%. The 100% title I have was a trial of words and their placements. When I dropped one word, my second book’s title went from 80% to 100%.

    1. My pleasure! I peruse so many sites that when I found this one it was a surprise! If I knew where I had found this link, I would have given that credit but so rarely in browsing the web do I find usable tools!

    1. Really?! Shocking! Well that proves it then, it is to be used sparingly, in increments, rather than face value! Plus, it really isn’t programmed to ‘understand’ intent, which made it a bit frustrating and extra time-consuming. I also noticed that a few of the high ranking titles it gave me were not ‘pretty’. It goes to show we have to use our own discretion and not get too carried away by the numbers!

        1. Totally agree because major keywords that I have confirmed countless times didn’t even register! So some of it one has to take lightly and then go from there…which is what I’m doing, taking the best of it’s suggestions and then adding the magic of vision through words. Now, on to the next cool gadget…

  2. Never heard of this before. Very interesting. Will give it a go taking into account the comments made about it not recognising all terms. Thank you for sharing.

    1. I too had not heard of it and when I nonchalantly followed a link there I had no idea I had just found treasure!
btw, this tool doesn’t recognize three or less words. I’m sure some will figure that out fast but I had to try it over and over before I recognized that fact! Thanks for visiting!

      1. Thank you for the added information. One of my books has three words in the title and another only two. So will have to look out for that with my next ones.
